Kosciuszko Chalet reviews

4 Star Review by Tony

Its clearly been a tough season on the ski slopes, between labour shortages and supply chain issues, and obviously things arent running as optimally as they would normally up there, BUT that said, the staff at the Chalet are very clearly working their arses off to give every guest the most welcoming and positive experience possible, in clearly trying circumstances. My kids and I had a lovely three days, we were warm and comfy and fed well enough and the rooms were clean and tidy. Combined with the excellent and very family friendly resort staff the whole trip was a highlight of a tough year. It would be easy to get snitty about things not being completely smooth and perfect, but honestly if youre willing to be a little understanding and to roll with things a bit, then you will have a great weekend.

Cleanliness was terrible, run by kids and no stock is a good summary of our overpriced snow holiday. I understand the remoteness, but gee whiz they really need to lift their game here. The building has so much potential, but it is all really tired and smelly. Would love to see the old girl refurbished (even though we stayed in a superior room that was refurbished on the room description). They cant charge this amount of money if this is the product that they are delivering for guests.

If you missed the pre-kids slopes days, this is the place for you! We travelled with a three years old, this place is VERY child friendly. Think about kids club while you ski/board down the mountain, or the all inclusive kozi kids where your bub can learn how to ski and looked after from 9 am - 3 pm (heaven!). Teams at the chalet were very warm and welcoming. Thank you Woodie, Lola, Matt, JC, Jade (reception)
