Went there for an early dinner and asked about food and drinks and was told to scan the code on the table for a full list of the food & drink menus. Ordered and paid for a bottle of wine (which was listed on the menu and on the blackboard inside) only then to be told they dont have that any more and was offered something else which was not up to same standard but at the same price .. too late as I had already been charged! I then asked what the three food specials were and was told they were now only available on Mon-Thurs so it basically left burgers & loaded fries as the only food options. If we had have known this we wouldnt have gone there. Im not usually critical but I can honestly say that we went there based on reviews so therefore I believe the reviews for this place are overrated!

Disappointing. Booked a table to meet friends for dinner before a show. Ordered meals and wondered after 45 mins where it was. Told that 'we are busy, you know?' After an hour after we checked again to be told that our orders had been given to another table by mistake. Left without getting meals or we would have missed the show. Cost refunded at our request. Others parties had a similar experience at the same time and left before meal arrived. It was a shame as the restaurant is located close to the theatre, making it an ideal place to meet before a show. If that's how the proprietor conducts business, however, I wouldn't rate it at all....

We absolutely loved the Birdhouse Bar. We took the kids there for father's day dinner and all 6 of us had a good time. The live music was great and the teenagers were ecstatic that they could charge their phones at the table. The food was really delicious. A bit pricey, but worth it. I had an $18 cocktail, but G Dam out was delicious. We'll definitely go back.

I attended this establishment, I ordered a cocktail jug worth $36. I paid for the drink then the bar tender turned to me and said they didnt have any jugs left, asking me to go and find a jug so he could make my drink. Didnt offer any alternative. Not what I really expected when ordering a drink

Michael is an exemplary worker, always greeting me, my wife and four kids with a welcoming and inviting smile. He is exceptionally fast at running food clocking an average speed of ~43kms/hr. My only tidbit would be sometimes the food is scorching hot. I understand this tends to be a good thing, but I have a very sensitive tongue. Also the music could be improved by the addition of the artist "Dave" or "Santan Dave". I recommend the songs: Streatham, Twenty to One and Professor X.

Very disappointing ordered dinner before a show , food no show after an hour , left without eating and having our cost refunded , our dinner happened to be freddo frogs at the theatre before the show
